About six illegal migrants have been arrested by the Nigeria Immigration Service in Ogun State.
It was gathered that the migrants were smuggled in through Idiroko borders by some Nigerians.
This was made known by the comptroller, Mrs Doris Braimah while parading the suspects at the office in Abeokuta.
According to Braimah, the illegal migrants were four Mali indigenes and two Guineans.
She added that the two suspects who smuggled in the migrants have been on the security watch list in Ogun state and they will soon be arraigned in court while the migrants will be repatriated to their countries.
She said; “When you aid unknown people into your country, without even knowing their aim, it is a big risk. It is actually called security threat.”
