President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the arrest of killers of the Peoples Democratic Party, woman leader, Mrs Achejuh Abuh in Kogi state.
Late Mrs Abuh was killed by hoodlums two days after the Kogi governorship election.
It was reported that hoodlums invaded her house around 2am, and poured petrol around the building before setting it ablaze.
President Buhari who condemned her killing said no life should be taken wantonly under guise.
He stated this in a statement released through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.
“We must learn to behave decently, whether during elections or at other times. No life should be taken wantonly under any guise, and the fact that this reprehensible act occurred two days after voting shows primitive behaviour, which should not be accepted in a decent society.”
“Such evildoers must be brought to justice, irrespective of whatever allegiances they hold.”
