President-elect Joe Biden has described Donald Trump as one of the “most irresponsible presidents in American history,” calling his challenges against the results of the November election “incredibly damaging”.
Trump has launched legal challenges in multiple states and claimed, without evidence, that he is the rightful winner of the election. His administration has refused to recognize Biden as the likely winner, blocking Biden’s transition team from funding and office space and the president-elect from receiving classified briefings.
Speaking after a call with state governors on Thursday, Biden said he was not concerned that Trump’s refusal to concede the election would prevent a transfer of power.
This was made public by United States President-Elect, Joe Biden while revealing how President Donald Trump would be remembered.
Biden said Trump would go down in history as one of the most irresponsible president in the history of the US.
The US Democratic Party’s presidential candidate made the remark as Trump tried to take extraordinary action in ‘subverting’ the outcome of the 2020 election.
“Americans are witnessing incredible irresponsibility and an incredibly damaging message is being sent to the rest of the world about how democracy functions.“It’s hard to fathom how this man thinks. It’s hard to fathom. It’s just outrageous, what he’s doing.“Trump will go down in history as one of the most irresponsible presidents.”
