The Supreme Courts has finally fulfilled its promise to release statement on its decision to throw out the appeal filed against President Muhammadu Buhari by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

According to Legit.ng, the Supreme Court stated that the PDP and Atiku failed to provide evidence of the server which they claimed belong to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

The court added that they should not have depended on an unpopular website for the 2019 presidential election results.

This was contained in a statement released by the court on Friday, November 15, 2019.

Furthermore , Justice John Okoro said, “I agree entirely with the court below that the appellants failed to prove that INEC has the server from which they got their figures.

“As a result, all the results, calculations and analysis based on the results claimed, are of no moment., The Nation reports.
