The outcome of the gubernatorial election in Kogi and Bayelsa state has been rejected by the House of Representatives minority caucus.
Explaining why they rejected the result, the Minority caucus said that the election was marred by violence and rigging.
This was made known by the leader, Ndudi Elumelu while addressing journalists in Abuja on Tuesday.
He said, “We are 100 per cent not in support of the outcome of the elections.”
He also condemned the demise of Senator Dino Melaye’s nephew who was killed during the rerun in Kogi-West senatorial district.
It was earlier reported that President Muhammadu Buhari told the opposition parties who were not satisfied with the result to seek redress in court.
