Just in, Truck crash leaves scores injured in Durban
Just after 05:30am this morning ALS Paramedics responded to a serious Truck Crash on the M13 Pinetown Bound coming down Fields Hill in Kloof.
Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that a truck had somehow lost control and overturned coming to rest on its side. Three occupants were found to have sustained injuries with the driver found to be entrapped in the wreckage.
Immediately the Ethekweni Fire Department were dispatched to assist. Whilst the patient was being cut free Advanced Life Support Paramedics worked to stabilize him in the vehicle. Once freed all three occupants were stabilized on the scene before being transported to a nearby Hospital for the further care that they required.
The M13 was closed Durban Bound and traffic was diverted.
At this stage the events leading up to the crash is unknown however all necessary authorities were in attendance and will be investigating further.
