Breaking: GERMISTON Business Heist Ends in Gunfight – Must See Footage!
TIP-OFF LEADS TO THE ARREST OF FOUR BUSINESS ROBBERY SUSPECTS – IN GERMISTON:
The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Community Liaison Unit (CLU) Officers, have apprehended four (4) male suspects between the ages of thirty (30) and fifty-six (56) years, for possession of two (2) unlicensed firearms and ammunition in the Germiston area.
Following on information received from a reliable source, about four (4) armed male suspects allegedly travelling in a silver Mercedes-Benz and believed to be on their way to commit a business robbery in the Primrose area, a lookout was immediately initiated.
The suspect vehicle with four occupants was spotted on Shamrock Street and upon noticing the police presence, the suspects attempted to flee the scene.
However, officers swiftly and strategically intercepted the vehicle at corner Shamrock Street and Churchill Avenue.
Upon searching the vehicle, they discovered ammunition, a Glock 17 firearm and a CZ firearm, both with obliterated serial numbers.
None of the suspects were able to provide a valid explanation for the possession of the unlicensed firearms.
The suspects were immediately arrested and detained at Germiston Police Station, facing charges of possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition.
They are expected to appear before the Germiston Magistrate’s Court.
