Armed Robbers Flee With Bread & Cash: Trenance Park – Kwazulu Natal

A bakery delivery truck was robbed by four (4) armed suspects who claimed they were hungry and made off with two (2) loaves of white bread & cash.

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received the call for assistance at 10:29 (Tuesday) and despatched multiple units to the Armed Robbery on Madrona Drive – Trenance Park in Kwazulu Natal.

When interviewed (picture 1), the van driver & assistants explained that they were approached by the four suspects armed with hand guns. They were robbed of R300 in cash and requested keys to the safe inside the truck.  When the suspects failed to retrieve the keys, they took two loaves of bread, stating that they were hungry.  They then fled on foot.

The distribution company is based in Durban – KZN.
