SAPS Top Boss In Trouble As New Evidence To Arrest Becomes Available
KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) top cop Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi said that he’s confident that there’s enough evidence to get suspended Deputy National Commissioner Shadrack Sibiya arrested for allegedly colluding with the criminal underworld.
He told the ad hoc committee investigating allegations of corruption and political influence in the criminal justice system that he’s satisfied that he has enough evidence to ensure Sibiya’s arrest.
Mkhwanazi, the committee’s last witness, concluded his evidence on Wednesday night.
He also doubled down on his allegations that the police minister on special leave, Senzo Mchunu, was captured by those opposed to the Political Killings Task Team (PKTT).
