Just in: Saps Officers K!lls An Assassin Following a shootout In

The 41-year-old was wanted for more than ten cases of murder, primarily on the KZN South Coast.

In a few hours, he allegedly would have carried out a hit on officials from the Umdoni Local Municipality.

A joint operation by the SAPS eThekwini District Trio Crimes Unit, SAPS KZN CI, Durban Metro Police Trio Crimes Unit and Durban Metro Police K9 Unit uncovered the man’s hideout during the early hours of this morning.

He allegedly opened fire on the officers during his imminent arrest, but died in the gunfight.

Guns have been seized at the scene.
