Man Found Shot Dead in Riverview KZN
An adult male was found shot in the head on Estuary Drive in Riverview – KZN this morning (Tuesday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were dispatched to the scene at approximately 06:22 after reports of a man lying unresponsive in the roadway.
On arrival, Reaction Officers located the male in a prone position on an embankment. He was dressed in a cream jacket and navy blue pants. Upon assessment, the individual was unresponsive and had sustained a gunshot wound to the head.
According to information received, members of the public discovered the body while proceeding to work and alerted authorities. No witnesses to the incident were immediately available and no suspects or weapons were located at the scene. The victim is believed to be a male in his mid-50s.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unknown at this stage.
