Breaking News: More than 4 People dead following a Mass Shooting in Cape Town

Police have launched a manhunt after three men and a woman were shot dead in Philippi East.

A second woman fled the scene after being injured during the shooting at the Marikana informal settlement on Sunday night.

Police spokesperson Novela Potelwa says serious violent crime detectives are investigating the incident, and a manhunt for the shooters is underway.

“Reports from the scene indicate that two gunmen entered the yard at approximately 21:30 on Disa Road and fired several shots. A woman who was injured during the shooting left before police arrived. No arrests have been effected yet.”
