Breaking: Two Elders Reportedly Attacked on a Farm in Western Cape

Two elderly tourists from the Netherlands were attacked on a farm in South Africa on Friday evening after three masked men broke into a guesthouse near Swellendam.

The suspects allegedly entered through a window and assaulted the elderly couple with sticks during the confrontation.

The attackers fled the scene with a laptop, about R400 ($20) in cash, and a small purse.

Local farm watch members responded within minutes and searched the area using thermal drones, but the suspects managed to escape.
