EFF’s Dunga sworn in as Gauteng finance MEC
JOHANNESBURG –Â The EFF’s Nkululeko Dunga has been sworn in as Gauteng’s new Finance MEC, marking a major cabinet shake-up in the province.
Dunga becomes the first EFF representative to serve in the Gauteng Executive Council and will now oversee a R180-billion budget.
He replaces Lebogang Maile, who moves to the Education and Sports, Arts, Culture and Recreation portfolio.

Dunga is promising to bring stability to Gauteng’s government.
Meanwhile, Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi has taken a swipe at those criticising Dunga’s appointment.
The EFF member took the oath of office as the Province’s new Finance MEC following last night’s cabinet reshuffle.
