Five dead, 60 injured in Eastern Cape crash

KUGOMPO – Five people have died after a head-on collision between a car and bus in KuGompo in the Eastern Cape. 

About 60 people have been injured.

It’s unclear what caused the crash but it’s understood the VW Polo, and the bus were travelling in opposite directions.

Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide and reckless driving.
