COURIER HIJACKING FOILED IN NELSPRUIT — 4 SUSPECTS ARRESTED:

Four suspects have been arrested following the hijacking of a courier vehicle in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga.

Armed assailants held-up the driver and fled with parcels, but a rapid response by SAPS led to a breakthrough.

The Ehlanzeni Anti-Hijacking Team tracked the suspects to Kamsogwaba, where a vehicle linked to the crime was intercepted.

One suspect attempted to flee while armed, and shots were fired before all four suspects were apprehended.

The suspects, aged 24 to 39, are set to appear in the Kanyamazane Magistrate’s Court facing charges including hijacking and illegal possession of firearms.
