Just in: Fatal head-on crash leaves scores injured in Ekurhuleni

A head-on collision between a Toyota Quantum (15 occupants) and a Nissan Hardbody double cab (3 occupants) has left 18 people injured on 9th Road in Bredell.

Tragically, one 6-week-old toddler has been confirmed deceased. Five patients, including both drivers, sustained critical injuries, while eleven others are in serious but stable condition.

All injured patients were transported by ambulance to various medical facilities across Ekurhuleni.
