Just in: Motor vehicle collision on Old Johannesburg Road near
On Tuesday morning at approximately 08h00, our Centurion crew responded to a motor vehicle collision on Old Johannesburg Road near Central Road in Rooihuiskraal, Centurion.
Upon arrival, it was found that a truck and a utility vehicle had collided, leaving five patients injured. Two patients sustained serious injuries, one sustained moderate injuries, and two sustained minor injuries.
One of the seriously injured patients was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated using the Jaws of Life.
All patients were stabilised on scene and transported to nearby hospitals in a stable condition.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are not yet known, and the police have opened an accident report.
