Just in; Supposed Leader of Polo Gang Leader Arrested

CPS Security, in joint operations with SAPS Highway Patrol EMPD CLU, and Tracker South Africa, successfully apprehended a suspect linked to the ongoing Polo theft syndicate operating across Gauteng.

During operations, a suspicious VW Polo was identified traveling past our teams. The vehicle was initially picked up near the Voortrekker off-ramp and later stopped on the N12 Highway in the Bassonia area.

As officers conducted a stop-and-search, the occupant suddenly slammed on brakes and attempted to evade but was swiftly apprehended.

Upon investigation, the vehicle was confirmed stolen in the Kempton Park area. Visible damage to the ignition further indicated tampering.
The suspect is currently being detained at Alberton SAPS and will face charges accordingly.
