Kwazulu Natal Man Busted With Cocaine Worth R8 Million in a suburb

An intricate plan was set up by members of SAPS MDOC (Durban), Durban North SAPS Trio Crimes, Newlands East SAPS Trio Crimes and Durban North SAPS Crime Prevention to capture a Nigerian man during the early hours of the morning.

He was spotted walking to his property inside a complex, carrying a black bag.

The team stopped him and found several bricks of cocaine in the backpack, labelled “Gold.”

It was later established the drugs collectively weighed close to 7kg, with an estimated value of R7.9 million.

Three cellphones and some cash were also taken as evidence.

The man is currently in custody pending a court appearance for allegedly being in possession of drugs.
