Scary: The Names Of Big Five cartel members In SA Finally Revealed

Suspended organised crime head General Richard Shibiri says he is the one who gave crime intelligence head General Dumisani Khumalo the names of the Big Five cartel members.

General Shibiri has concluded his evidence for the day and will return to the commission on Friday to face cross-examination.

He told the Commission that he gave General Khumalo the unverified information on the Big Five cartel but was startled when he was not acknowledged for his work.

He further raised concerns that he got no response when he requested a risk assessment threat after providing General Khumalo with the crucial information.

“So, I’m just saying to the commission that some of the things we’re not dealing with, to say it’s not more precious than the other’s life. Unless I’m part of the cartel, I won’t be hurt. But what was said was like maybe just pushed into the den of lions to be killed by the lions.”
