— Eastern Cape Triple Murder: Three men aged between 23 and 37 were found murdered in Bethelsdorp on Sunday, 26 April, after being hijacked in Vukukhanye Street, Kwanobuhle. Five suspects, two armed, ambushed the victims inside a white Mazda 323, demanded cash and cellphones, and drove off with three occupants still inside. The Provincial Serious and Violent Crime Unit is investigating.

— Trucks Torched on the N3: Three trucks were set alight on the N3 highway in Vosloorus on Wednesday night after suspects blocked the road and opened fire during an attempted hijacking. Drivers escaped uninjured but the trucks and cargo were destroyed. Gauteng Police have opened dockets for malicious damage to property and attempted murder. No arrests yet.
