Traffic gridlock on N3 as truckers stage protest in Harrismith

HARRISMITH – The N3 freeway in Harrismith in the Free State is closed in both directions. 

Multiple trucks are blocking the section of this crucial route. 

Authorities say the Public Order Policing unit is monitoring the situation.

The Road Incident Management System believes this is a trucker’s protest. 

Details of their grievances are not yet clear at this stage.

The N3 Concession is advising motorists to delay their travel until further notice.
