Watch As Fight Breaks Out Between ANC Politicians

ANC councillors in Maluti-a-Phofung walked out of a council meeting that was meant to debate a motion of no confidence against its mayor.

Following their walkout, a group of “thugs” carrying knives entered the council chambers accompanied by ANC councillors and trashed the place.

The motion of no confidence did, however, proceed without the ANC and the mayor was removed.

This happened as President Cyril Ramaphosa is in the province to discuss challenges in the municipalities around the province with the party’s Provincial Executive Committee and the Provincial Executives.
