Woman seriously injured after jumping from moving vehicle on N2

IPSS Medical Rescue responded to reports of a motor vehicle accident on the N2 near Tinley Manor.

On arrival of paramedics a woman was found to have sustained serious injuries after jumping from the moving vehicle. According to other occupants of the vehicle, another vehicle was driving recklessly and nearly collided with them. The woman panicked thinking they were about to crash and jumped from the moving vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle managed to avoid a collision.

The woman was stabilised on scene before being transported to hospital under the care of an IPSS Medical Rescue Advanced Life Support paramedic.
