Multiple violent incidents were reported across the Cape Town metro on Wednesday.
In Hanover Park, a young boy was shot in an area known as “The Plenty.”
In Steenberg, a man was critically injured after being attacked with a machete in Serenade Street.
In Elsies River, a woman was shot and killed in Norwood Avenue, Leonsdale, while four other people were wounded in a separate shooting in Athena Avenue, Eureka Estate.
Meanwhile, in Salt River, a young man was shot and killed in Tennyson Street at around 9pm.
