Just in: Kzn Accident leaves 2 people K!lled , scores injured
Two people have been killed and two others seriously injured following a serious single vehicle crash on Queen Nandi Drive near the Engen Garage on Sunday evening.
KZN VIP Emergency Medical Services were dispatched to the scene after receiving multiple reports from motorists requesting immediate medical assistance.
Upon arrival, KZN VIP medics conducted a rapid triage of the patients and immediately began stabilising two occupants who had sustained serious injuries.
Tragically, two other occupants of the vehicle had sustained fatal injuries and showed no signs of life. They were declared deceased on the scene.
Once stabilised, the two seriously injured patients were prepared for urgent transport to hospital for further medical care.
Metro Police together with multiple emergency services were in attendance, while ambulances awaited the arrival of SAPS before patients were transported and the scene handed over for further investigation.
The circumstances leading up to the crash remain unknown at this stage.
