Breaking: Popular KZN woman K!lled By Two Vehicles

A female pedestrian died after being struck by two vehicles in Amaoti, KwaZulu-Natal, yesterday (Tuesday) evening.

Eyewitness says the woman is a very known and well respected member of the community

At 19:46, the Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Phoenix Operations Centre received a call from a passerby requesting assistance at the scene. Upon arrival, Reaction Officers found the South African Police Service (SAPS) already present.

It was established that a female, believed to be approximately 50 years old, was initially struck by the rear-view mirror of a passing vehicle, causing her to fall to the ground. While she was lying on the roadway, a bus travelling along the same route drove over her.

The pedestrian sustained critical injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
