Just in: vehicle crash leaves 4 critically injured in KZN

Midlands EMS Howick crews along with Midlands EMS rescue vehicle were dispatched to the D2077 road in the Caversham area just outside of Howick for a motor vehicle accident.

On arrival, it was established that a bakkie had been involved in a serious accident. The vehicle had sustained extensive damage. Four occupants were found to be in a critical condition and required urgent advanced medical care.

Midlands EMS paramedics, together with the rescue team, worked to stabilize the patients on scene. All patients were treated and carefully prepared for transport before being transported to a nearby hospital for further advanced care.

Authorities were in attendance.
