Popular Ekurhuleni Man Confirmed Dead Following an Accident at
On Saturday 25 April 2026, the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Freeway Unit Officers, responded to a pedestrian vehicle accident (PVA) on the R21 direction south, just before the R24 split.
Upon arrival, Officers found a white VW hatchback parked on the side of the road. An unidentified white female, believed to be between the ages of thirty (30) and (40) years, was found lying on the roadside. The driver sustained minor injuries, while the female pedestrian was declared dead on the scene by medical personnel.
Eyewitness says the woman is known in the area once ran for political office at some point
Two (2) lanes are currently affected; motorists are advised to approach with caution and expect delays.
