Five suspects have been k!lled in a shootout with KZN police
Five suspects have been killed in a shootout with KZN police in Hluhluwe.
Information was received about the men, who were travelling on the R618 towards a game reserve, late last night.
According to the SAPS: “A stop and search operation was set up along the same road and when the suspects arrived at the roadblock, a shootout ensued between police and the suspects.
Five suspects were shot and fatally wounded, and they were found in possession of a hunting rifle with a silencer and two pistols.
According to some witness they gang are very known and popular in the area
No police officer was injured during the shootout.”
