Three police officers have been killed in the Eastern Cape in what is believed to be a domestic fight.
It’s understood that a constable shot his ex-girlfriend, who was also an officer, and two other colleagues at a house in Kariega.
“All three members were declared dead; two at the scene, and the third after being transported to Cuyler Hospital. Their identities will be released as soon as next of kin notification is completed,” said police spokesperson Nobuntu Gantana.
She added that a State gun was retrieved from the scene along with 10 live rounds.
“Ballistic analysis will form part of the ongoing investigation.”
No arrests have yet been made.
