Family of a man who was shot and killed by cash-in-transit

The family of a man who was shot and killed by cash-in-transit security guards in Bushbuckridge says they are heartbroken by his death and insist that he was not a criminal, but someone struggling with mental health issues.

According to reports, the man allegedly stabbed the driver of a cash-in-transit vehicle near a shopping complex before security guards opened fire on him. It is further alleged that he was later run over by a vehicle during the incident.

The family is now demanding action against the security guards, saying an innocent person lost his life
